Off For Business Trip & Experienced

I was away again last week, as normal for a business trip. The day I was supposed to fly off to KL, I was still at office at 5pm and trying to finish up a report that need to be sent to our Regional Office. I need to go back home and send my car and had a flight to catch. My flight was at 7.15pm which mean I have to be at the airport latest by 6.45pm. Due to nobody around to send me, I had to ask one of my colleague to send me to the airport. Traffic was really bad and when I reached airport, they already called my name for check in and I had to run to the check in counter. Thank God the airport not big and I didn't have my luggage with me. As I ran and passed the security, one of the security officer who did the body check, kindly enough to tell me "miss, one of your shirt button is open". And my replied, "ops..thank you very much for letting me know" and quickly ran to the gate. Damn it. It was so embarrassing. I finally can breath properly when on board. In my heart, finally I make it on board and the plane took off.

Not even 10 minutes, the pilot announced that the weather was quite bad, and the plane was shaking and they even couldn't serve the drink. I prayed hard. Hahahahaha..Nervous ok. It was my first time experienced this kind of situation. It supposed to be only 45 minutes flight but it took about an hour to reach KLIA. The moment we landed at KLIA, I was so relieved and walked very fast to get out from that place. I was lucky enough as my brother already there to fetch me. I supposed to meet up with Audrey, but it was quite late when she replied my text and I've decided to go back to my my bro's place and rest and tried to get enough sleep for my early morning for the conference.

I've to wake up really early as the registration will be at 8.30am and it was in the middle of KL. My brother sent me to Bukit Bintang and left as I will check in into the hotel later part in the evening.

The conference was quite good and very interesting as the discussed about the current issues and also gave us the updated information. It was a 2 days conference. I've attended a few conference before, but this time was the best. Apart from the two days conference, I also had a meeting at out KL Sales Office on Thursday followed by a Career Fair at Taylor's University College on Friday. It was really a tiring days for me. With addition to that, the catch up session with friends until late night was driving me crazy to wake up in the morning. But, I had fun with them.

I came back on Friday night with my colleague. Damn tired I tell you. But so much information in my head right now and I'm trying to think how I wanna apply it to my work. Hehehehehe.. But one good thing when I managed to see where I'll be working in 2 years time..Can't wait!

The Day I'd Mixed Work And Leisure Together : Day 3 & Last Day

Third day was more on leisure. Not totally leisure I would say. I had my final run through of few reports in the morning until late afternoon before quickly went to my room to change and had my final lunch with them. Yup, my lunch was about 5pm people! That's why I managed to pujuk them to leave work a bit early. I had my valid reason as I was leaving Singapore early morning the next day and I won't see them again. They bought my excuse though. Hahahahaha

My intial planned was to have my lunch at one of the Japanese Restaurant nearby GHS, but my Area Director insisted to buy me lunch at one of the outlet at GHS. I also dragged Seelia to join us for lunch as she happened to be in the hotel for her final visit.

After about 2 hours plus there, and have been chased out by the F&B Manager, Mike (as he was so tak puas hati he had to work until night)..we moved went up to my room for awhile.

We went out again and walked along Orchard Road in the evening until night. Came back to my room and do all the packing as I need to leave early morning.

final shopping?? no..no..i had to buy my working shoes and i have no time to buy it back home..ya, i know another excuse to finish up my last singapore dollar hahahaha

I woke up like really early and after had my quick breakfast, took a cab straight to Changi and met Seelia there at the airport as she was flying back to Kuantan with me. Our flight was at 9.25am so by 8 something we already at the airport.

We reached Kuantan around 10.30 am. Despite of being so exhausted, I enjoyed this trip and I had so much fun. I'll definitely will come back again soon.

The Day I'd Mixed Work And Leisure Together : Day 2

After had an exhausted day from the moment I arrived in Singapore and not really had enough rest, I received a wake up call at 8am, not from the operator but from room service as Mike the F&B Manager asked them to call me and check what I wanted for my breakfast. I just told them to send something light and they sent full american breakfast in my room at 8.30am.

Right after finished my in-room breakfast, instead of going back to bed, I had to get ready for work. I need to be in office at 9.00am and I was in the office sharp on time. Work was good tho. We always communicated through emails and phone calls, but when we all sit together and discuss about stuffs, the feeling was really good.
Without me knowing it, they already planned where to take me right after work, which mean at 5.30pm sharp. After finished up everything, we headed off to Vivo City. Actually they didn't really tell me where to go, they just dragged me. Hehehehhehehe

From the Vivo City, they decided to go to Resort World, Sentosa. Instead of taking a cab, I insisted to take a bus ride. Hahahahaha, I don't know why, but I just feel like taking the bus. Furthermore, it will only take us around 15 minutes from the vivo city to Resort World.

We reached Sentosa around 6.30pm and our bus stop right in front of the Resort World entrance. I think most of you all know what they have in Resort World a part from the casino.. It's Universal Studio guys!!!! However, the sad part was..because we didn't plan to go there, so we didn't buy the ticket earlier and they closed the park at 6pm. We were practically late. But we managed to walk around and that area was huge.

We went to Festive Hotel and being the hotelier, we were able to convince them to show us their room. Hahahahaha...kind of doing the inspection of the room. I will talk about it in my next entry.

After our walkabout around Resort World, and Andrea kept on complaining about her hunger, we've decided to have our dinner at Resort World itself. They got so many choices of place to eat and so many different cuisines. But we ended up at Osia, the mix of European & Australian cuisine.

We headed back right after our dinner and reached GHS around 11.30pm. No, I refused to take a bus back as I couldn't wait to get back into my room and shower and have a nice sleep. Hehehehe..I feel like my leg almost tercabut with all the walking and my body was exhausted. And I had another half day to be in the office the next day to run through a few reports with the Area Director of HR and I really needed my rest. Because of that, I had to cancel our late night session. Yup, I was being good there.

Even though I had limited time, but all in all I really had fun with them. I will definitely will go back again and spend time with them again.
